Voxly ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Voxly mobile application and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information.

Account: Email address and password
Content: Documents and files you upload for processing
Profile: Preferred language, country, selected exam

2.2 Automatically collected

Usage data (features used, playback duration)
Device information (OS version, app version)
Log data (IP address, access times, error logs)

2.3 Content processing

Documents you upload are processed by AI to generate audio summaries, quizzes, and flashcards. Your raw documents are never shared with other users.

5. User-Generated Content

When you contribute to the Voxly community library:

Only derivative content is shared (audio, quizzes, summaries — not your original files)
You retain ownership of your original uploaded documents
You grant Voxly a non-exclusive license to display derivative content
You confirm you have the right to upload the source material

6. Data Retention

Account data: Until you delete your account
Uploaded documents: Deleted within 30 days of processing
Generated content: While your account is active
Usage logs: 90 days

7. Your Rights

You may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. Contact us at privacy@voxly.app to exercise these rights.

8. Data Security

We implement TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, encryption at rest, row-level security on all database tables, and strict access controls.

9. Children's Privacy

Voxly is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

10. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany) and the United States, with appropriate safeguards in place.

11. Changes

We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
